At Lone Birch, we finish all our products with a plant-based furniture wax from Walrus Oil. We've tried countless waxes and oils and Walrus Oil is what we've chosen to use for all our products.
What's nice about using the Walrus Oil furniture wax is that it's simple to use and very affordable and only requires a dry time of 24 hours.
When your wood starts to look dry or blotchy, it's likely time for a new coat of wax. It will probably be a while before you need a new coat, but it's best practice to add a new coat every few months. Make sure you follow the directions on the can when applying.
